How the Beni Mobile Extension Works

by

Beni is free and easy to use. Here’s how the extension works on your phone:

Note: due to Apple’s privacy laws, you must have the Beni mobile app downloaded before you can set up the mobile extension. Need help? Learn how to set up your Beni Mobile App here.

Add to Safari: Once you’ve logged in to the app, click on “Set up Beni in Safari” in the “Complete your setup to get the most out of Beni” block.

Toggle Beni On: In the Safari tab that opens, follow the on-screen instructions to enable Beni for Safari:

Tap the aA icon in the url bar.

Select “Manage Extensions” and toggle Beni on.

Note: if Chrome is your default browser on your phone, you’ll need to click “Using Chrome? Skip this.”

Give Beni Permission: When the page reloads, tap the aA icon in the url bar again (if it’s not still open) and tap the orange triangle.

On the first pop up, select “Always Allow…” and on the following pop up, select “Always Allow on Every Website.”

Note: If you select “Allow for One Day” or “Allows All on This Website,” the Beni extension will not be able to access the data it needs to show you the best resale deals while you shop. You can read more about how we use this data and our privacy policy here.

Go Shopping With Beni: When the Beni extension opens at the bottom of the screen, pick your favorite brand and take Beni out for a test drive!

Check Out: When you find something you like, click ‘View’ to see the listing on one of our 50+ partner resale sites and check out directly with them. Or, save the item to your Beni Favorites, which you can find at any time in the Beni app.
